Astro Advertising originated in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1976, with owners Gene and Wini Woolsey.
We began the company by publishing restaurant placemats. This took us to silk screening coffee cups for restaurants and various companies. In 1984 we moved to our home and offices in Summerfield, Florida (a suburb of Ocala) and at that time went into the local phone book publishing business. With a retention rate of 85%, with advertisers, we sold this business after 20 years and began publishing local magazines. |
